This Privacy Notice describes how PathBuilder, LLC ("PathBuilder," "we", "us" or "our") handles personal data that we collect through our websites and mobile applications that link to this Privacy Notice (collectively, the "Service"), as well as through our marketing and other activities described in this Privacy Notice. Use of the Service is subject to our SaaS Services Agreement.

2. Scope of this Privacy Notice

PathBuilder provides businesses with a cloud-based employee development hub that their employees use for goal setting and development plans. The Service is not intended for use by individuals for personal, family, household, or other consumer purposes, and the personal data covered by this Privacy Notice pertains to individuals acting in a business or commercial capacity. This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal data about PathBuilder personnel or job candidates, or to personal data that PathBuilder processes on behalf of customers in our capacity as a processor or service provider.

The personal data we collect from you, either directly or indirectly, will depend on how you interact with us and with our Service. We collect personal data about you from the following sources:

Information you provide to us

Personal data you may provide to us through the Service, at our online or offline events, through our promotions and surveys, when visiting our offices, or otherwise includes:

  • Contact data: Your full name, professional title, organization name, email address, mailing address, phone number, social media handle, and other contact details.
  • Account data: Your full name, email address, the password for your Service account, your country, and any other information you choose to add to your Service profile or associate with your account, such as your avatar, industry, country, pronouns, birthdate, personal goals, professional goals, or hobbies.
  • Transaction data: Any payment card data or banking details you chose to use to pay for the Service, and information about your transactions with us.
  • Communications data: Information in your communications with us, including when you communicate with us through the Service, social media, events, or otherwise; respond to surveys; provide feedback; or post to our blogs/forums.
  • Security data: Security camera footage of our offices, facilities and event spaces.
  • Referral data: Contact details of friends or contacts that you refer to us or that refer you.

As you navigate the Service, our communications, and other online services, we, our service providers, and our advertising partners may automatically collect information about you, your computer or device, and your browsing actions and usage activity, such as:

  • Device data: Technical information about your computer or mobile device, including operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, RAM and disk size, CPU usage, device type, IP address, unique device identification numbers or other identifiers, language settings, mobile device/cellular carrier, radio/network information, and general location information associated with IP address.
  • Usage data: Page and screen views, search terms, authentication details, how long you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before browsing to the Service, navigation paths between pages/screens, information about your activity on a page/screen, access times and duration of access, whether you have opened our emails or clicked links within them, and other functional information on Service performance.

  • Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

These links and integrations are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control websites or other online services operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for their actions.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

We are headquartered in the United States and may use service providers that operate in the United States and other countries other than the country in which you are resident. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country.

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under 18 from whom you believe we have collected personal data in a manner prohibited by law, please contact us.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Notice, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Notice and posting it on the Service or other appropriate means.

Our use of the targeted advertising services described above may constitute the "sharing" or "sale" of personal information under the CCPA. We do not have actual knowledge that we have sold the personal information of California residents under the age of 18.

Our Services are intended for use only in the United States and are not directed to individuals located outside of the United States, including in the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not knowingly collect or process personal data of individuals in the EEA.
